Self esteem and assertiveness

Self esteem and assertiveness

So many people these days want to improve their self esteem but don’t know where to start.  Should they dig back into their childhood?  Or should they try to forget about the past and keep repeating affirmations?  Is it necessary to be in therapy for years in order to get yourself sorted out?  Amongst all this confusion you will find my course Self Esteem Unlocked a plain and straightforward guide to developing your self esteem in steady easy steps.  It is the fruit of forty years of studying self esteem and is written in plain and simple language.

From my experience of working with people from all walks of life, it is plain that people long for the contentment that comes from good self esteem; they just don’t know how to go about it.

Assertiveness and good self esteem go hand in hand together.  If you show assertive behaviour in the way you relate to people this is usually a sign that your self esteem is in good shape.  If however you find that you are often passive, depressed, fearful, cowed, easily manipulated and dominated, cringing, this may be an indication that your self esteem is low.  Also if you are prone to uncontrolled anger, tend to dominate or bully people, have rigid body language you may also have low self esteem that you are trying to conceal by blustering and bullying behaviour.

Self Esteem Unlocked will take you by the hand and lead you through the steps you need to take to free yourself from your low self esteem.  This golden guide will be by your side – not just for a few days – not just for a few months – not even for a few years – - but for life.

Notes

Assertiveness is a dirty word.

If you are working your way up the ladder you will want to learn how to be confident with anyone from any background.
